Helene’s experience

 

Helene Banner is an international Keynote Speaker, moderator, political communication expert and leadership mentor.

Before founding her leadership project "Let's Just Be Imperfect, Ladies" in 2020, she worked at the European Commission in Brussels and Berlin. During her 10-year career, she was a spokesperson, head of communication and eventually presidential speechwriter for Jean-Claude Juncker. In July 2019 she advised and accompanied now-President Ursula von der Leyen in the weeks when she became the first woman in this office.

In the past years, Helene inspired audiences as a host and Keynote Speaker at conferences ranging from the SHE Conference in Oslo, the Oxford Union, the European Commission and private sector champions.

Helene teaches a workshop on political communication, speechwriting and media work as a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges.
